How do we reconcile careers with our place in the world? The challenge is generational: We enter careers that realize our early ambitions, but find later on that they lack ‘better world’ impact. It’s painful in our 30s. It hits hard in our 40s and 50s.
It is normal, we just evolve. And so does the world around us. Sunny Future is a reminder that we don’t have to abandon or change our careers: we evolve them, and we apply our smarts, optimism, and new ambitions to the big challenges of our times.
As the founder, I am not new to career evolution: diplomacy, consulting, finance, publishing, HR, technology… the world over. I’m passionate about the future of work, in all its nuances, and the power of the collective to solve the world’s big issues.
Joyful, impactful careers are the privilege of our generation. There is a lot of anxiety around work, triggered by AI and a volatile world. Sunny Future steps in with optimism (the name came up on Sunshine Beach): a network of joyful connectors and better world ambitious committed to a better future.
